Congratulations to the students selected for the District 1 Honor Band! Robert Kitson - Clarinet; Annie Lueck, Dan Pozniak - Trumpet; Maggie Bittner - Trombone; and Tyler Saner - Trumpet (Alternate). The ensemble will perform at 7:00PM in the Stranahan Theater on Sunday, January 29.

The ensemble will perform at 3:30PM in Kobacker Hall, Saturday, January 21.

The criteria used in band placement, in order of importance, are:
1) Audition performance
2) Ratings and difficulty of music at Solo & Ensemble contest
3) Participation in one or more honor bands (special consideration given to All-State Ensemble members)
4) Private lessons
5) Attitude and behavior
6) Seniority (only if there are equally qualified candidates based on the other criteria above)
