Ray Kest Memorial Old Newsboys Goodfellow Association Scholarship
Need is a primary factor in the selection process. Attention is paid to cumulative GPA, ACT/SAT scores, leadership skills, extra-curricular activities, community service and the availability of other financial resources. Applications are available in guidance. Deadline is October 21st, 2011.
The Gates Millennium Scholars Program
A renewable, need-based scholarship who will choose to study computer science, education, engineering, library science, mathematics, public health or science as a major/career. Student must also meet the following criteria:
- African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American or Hispanic American.
- A citizen of the United States
- Have a GPA of at least 3.3 on the 4.0 scale
- Will enroll in an accredited college or university
- Meet Pell Grant eligibility
- Have demonstrated leadership abilities in community service, extracurricular or other activities.
