Principal's Notes - Mr. Dale Wiltse – he is sorry he couldn’t be in attendance – but had a family commitment.
1) The fall walk-a-than has drawn to a close with all incentive prizes given out. Robin did an exceptional job of organizing it. We took in more that $12,000 and had a net profit near $8,000 once t-shirts and other prizes were given out. Thanks to JHPO, our students, and our generous families for their participation. This fundraiser was a fun experience for our kids and staff!
2) Fall activities have been completed and winter activities are beginning . Our talent show is approaching in a couple of weeks.
3)We had a fun ......fall spirit assembly at the end of October where all students who were involved in a fall activity were recognized.

Book Fair– Was held on November 2-5. Numbers were actually higher than last year, even though there was no evening event in conjunction with it. Great news! We sold $4,715.37 in books this year, vs. $4,303.70 in 2010. We've scheduled the fair next year earlier to coincide with evening volleyball/football games and 6th grade meetings. It will be sometime during the week of Oct. 15, 2012. Thank you to Esther Hertzfeld for running another successful event.
